Temperature drop expected in northern parts of country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring, rain with lightning and thunder is expected in areas of western aimags and in western parts of central aimags on June 22, in areas of central aimags on June 23, in areas of central and eastern aimags on June 24, and in eastern parts of central aimags and in areas of eastern aimags on June 25.
The wind will get stronger in central aimags on June 22 and in eastern half of the country on June 23, reaching 14-16m/sec.
Temperature will drop in northern parts of the country most of time.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, the nighttime temperature will be +3 to + 8 degrees Celsuis and the daytime temperature will be +15 to +20 degrees Celsuis.
The daily highs will be +30 to +35 degrees Celsius in Southern Gobi of Altai and in gobi region.
In other regions, the daytime temperature will rise up to +27 degrees Celsius and the nighttime will be +11 to +16 degrees Celsius.
