Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A law students’ team of the Law School of the National University of Mongolia won a prize at the 16th international humanitarian law moot court competition, held on March 6-10 in Hong Kong, China.
Law students of 25 universities from 21 countries and regions across the Asia Pacific tested their knowledge of international humanitarian law. The competition allows students act as counsels of both the Prosecution and the Defense, and debate on a fictional case before a simulated International Criminal Court.
In the competition, the Mongolian law students’ team won the prize with its prosecutorial explanation.
It is an annual event, co-organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Hong Kong Red Cross, in collaboration with the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong.
