Mongolia’s horse wins global competition

On Saturday of Ocober 31, a horse named “Mongolian Saturday”, owned and trained by Mongolians, won the Breeder’s Cup World Championships’ Turf Sprint, which took place in Keeneland track of Lexington, Kentucky of the USA. The event was a milestone in the history or horsemen Mongolians.

Byambaa, whose American name is Mongolian Saturday turning five this year, ran the 5.5 furlong or over one kilometer track within 1:03:19.

Mongolian Saturday’s owner is one of the popular businessmen and a renowned horse trainer of Mongolia, the president of Max Group Mr Ganbaatar. The horse was trained by Mr Ganbat.

A Frenchman Florent Geroux rode the horse and wore a sky blue apparel that expressed Mongolian symbol and carried the state emblem on the front.
