SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports that a maximum precipitation was recorded at 17.2 mm in Darkhan-Uul aimag’s Shariin gol soum in October of 2015.
Bayankhongor aimag’s Shinejinst soum had the highest air temperature (+28.0°C), whereas Bayankhongor aimag’s Bayanbulag soum had the lowest (-25.0°C) in October 2015.
In the same period, some ten air quality monitoring stations measured that an average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide exceeded 15-31 times, dust content with less than 2.5 micron exceeded 18-25 times, and dust content with less than 10 micron in the atmosphere of Ulaanbaatar exceeded the maximum acceptable level 21-25 times.
