Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga has issued a decree on awarding the National University of Mongolia (NUM) the Sukhbaatar Order.
The Order was presented Friday by Z.Enkhbold, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President.
“The National University of Mongolia is awarded the Sukhbaatar Order in high recognition of the invaluable contributions of all generations of professors and scholars, students and staff to shaping the modern development of Mongolia’s educational, cultural, scientific, social, economic and humanitarian sectors by laying the foundation for tertiary education system in Mongolia. The university trained the very first highly-educated professionals and commenced numerous scientific researches, bringing up the mentality about science in the country,” the decree says.
