Mongolian draught players triumph in Asian Championship 2018

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Organized in Xintai of Shandong province, People's Republic of China on April 21-26. Mongolian draught players’ team triumphed the Asian Draughts Championships 2018 with a total of 48 medals.
67 Mongolian draught players participated in the championships held in Xintai of Shandong province, People's Republic of China on April 21-26 and they won 13 gold, 19 silver and 19 bronze medals in the six age categories. With this achievement, Mongolian team has been listed in the second place after the host country.

In this Championships, draught players from 11 countries competed for 36 sets of medals in three events International draughts (100 square), rapid and blitz.

Draught players B.Munkhjin, B.Misheel, G.Duurenbileg, S.Munkh-Orgil, G.Buyandelger and B.Enkhriilen won medals from all events they competed in. Moreover, Ts.Otgonbileg took the second place in the men’s U-20 category while 12 years old E.Khuslen fulfilled the norms of he International Draughts Federation's Master title during the Asian Championships. The medalists are qualified for the World Draughts Championship- 2019.
