25th Sambo Asian Championships to take place in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 10-14, the 25th Sambo Asian Championships will be held at 'Buyant-Ukhaa' sport complex in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Yesterday on May 8, Secretary General of the Mongolian Sambo Federation B.Ariun-Erdene has opened the pre-tournament workshop for the judges with his remarks and wished good luck to the participants. More than 20 foreign and domestic judges were involved in the workshop.
This year Mongolia marks the 50th anniversary of the development of Sambo sports. Sambo is one of the most successful sports that has developed in Mongolia. Over the past 50 years many Mongolian sambo wrestlers became World and Continental champions.
