Mongolian team participated “Windsor Half Marathon 2019”

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. 16 members of “Team
Mongolia Runners” club which consists of people living in Britain,
participated to “Windsor Half Marathon 2019” at Windsor Park which is owned by the Queen of United Kingdom on September 29.
Mongolians participated to the marathon from all over the England including London, West Sussex, Cambridge, Surrey and Manchester. The team was awarded a commemorative after finishing 21.9 km in 2 hours and 35 minutes. Then, participants shared views on participating competitions further, increasing the number of club members etc. On the occasion of the 1st anniversary of “Team Mongolia Runners” club, they are planning to participate “London Winter Run 2020” which is to be held in February, 2020 as well as annual “Windsor Half Marathon 2020”.
London based photo studio “G-Studio MN” sponsored the athletes.
Over 6000 participants took part in the 37th edition of the annual marathon. Organizers emphasized that the number of participants is increasing each year because of the marathon’s venue. Windsor castle area is considered as one of the most iconic places in England which is a home to many types of birds, animals and has many rivers, lakes and ponds.
