Ulaanbaatar, May 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Under the Constitution of Mongolia and the Law on Encouraging Mothers Who Have Given Birth to and Raised Many Children, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa decreed to confer the Order of Maternal Glory to mothers, in celebration of the upcoming International Children’s Day.

This year, a total of 14,480 mothers across the country will receive First- and Second-Class Order of Maternal Glory.

Among today’s recipients, most are 34–39 years old, with the youngest being 22.

The President underlined that the Order of Maternal Glory symbolizes a mother’s boundless love and dedication to her children’s well-being, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all recipients. President Khurelsukh noted that the child allowance provided by the state under the "Child Money" Program is not merely social welfare but a policy to boost population growth and support mothers and children.

At the initiative of the President of Mongolia, the monetary reward that accompanies the Order of Maternal Glory has been doubled starting in 2025.

The Head of State wished the distinguished mothers, along with their families, children, spouses, and relatives, good health, happiness, and every success.
