‘Mongols – A Journey Through Time’ Exhibition to Open at Rietberg Museum in Zürich

The “Mongols – A
Journey Through Time” exhibition, showcasing 2,000 years of history and culture,
will open at Rietberg Museum in Zürich, the Swiss Confederation, on October 23,
2025.
This exhibition
aims to present the historical development and urban evolution of Mongolia. Throughout
the exhibition, the founding of the Hunnu Empire, vast empires that spanned all
of Central Asia, and the traditions of social, military, and cultural
development passed down from the Hunnu Empire will be highlighted. The
strategic importance of horses, the engineering of bows and arrows, and the decimal-based
military structure will be included.
According to the Embassy of Mongolia in
Geneva, the “Mongol – A Journey Through Time” exhibition will run until
February 26, 2026.
