Bank of Mongolia Buys 899.5 kg of Precious Metals in November

Ulaanbaatar, December 3, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Central Bank of Mongolia purchased 899.5 kilograms of precious metals in November 2025, bringing the total volume acquired since the beginning of the year to 13.6 tonnes.
Of this amount, the Darkhan-Uul branch of the Central Bank of Mongolia purchased 760.7 kilograms, while the Bayankhongor branch purchased 1,665.1 kilograms. This represents a 14.2 percent decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.
The purchase price of precious metals by the
Bank of Mongolia is set according to global market prices. In November this
year, the average gold purchase price was 467,367.93 tugrugs.
