Land Allocation Requests to Be Processed Starting December

Ulaanbaatar, December 25, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Under Government Resolution No. 121 of 2025, Mongolia has approved an updated “The Procedure for Issuing Certificates of Land Possession and Use Eights”.
In accordance with the regulation, applications are now accepted for 27 types of land-related requests from citizens and legal entities. These include granting new land possession and use rights, transferring land possession rights to others, extending the validity of land possession and use certificates, changing land-use purposes, adjusting land size and location, and consolidating or subdividing land parcels.
Land-related applications are accepted through the electronic land system (www.egazar.gov.mn) and the mobile application (egazar). Depending on the type of application, requests are processed within one to five working days in accordance with relevant legislation. Beginning December 31, 2025, applications for land allocation will be processed, and land will be granted in sequential order.
Citizens are required to submit land allocation
requests electronically. Land will be allocated in the order applications are
received, based on locations designated in approved land-use and land
management plans.
