MPP Chairman Uchral Meets CCP Secretariat Member Cai Qi

Ulaanbaatar, March 25, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Within the framework of the visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), delegates led by the Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) and the Speaker of the State Great Khural Uchral Nyam-Osor met with a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and the director of the General Office of the Central Committee of CCP, Cai Qi, on March 24 at the Great Hall of the People.

 

During the meeting, Chairman Uchral noted that the 105-year-long history of relations and cooperation between the two political parties, MPP and the CCP, has been an important impetus for Mongolia’s development. He also congratulated the successful convening of the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress and the adoption of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan for socio-economic development.

 

Chairman Uchral noted that the Mongolian side is satisfied that the Mongolia-China Strategic Partnership is developing across all sectors under the strategic leadership of the two countries' Heads of State, with real progress and tangible results achieved through the large-scale development projects the two countries have discussed for years.

 

The Speaker of the State Great Khural highlighted that the two sides mutually respect each other’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, development path, and core interests, reaffirming Mongolia’s consistent support of the One China policy and noting that the Mongolian side will continue to support the “Belt and Road” and Global initiatives proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

 

Member of the Politburo Standing Committee and the director of the CCP General Office Cai Qi expressed pleasure that Chairman of MPP and Speaker of the State Great Khural Uchral Nyam-Osor is starting his foreign visits as party chairman from the People’s Republic of China, noting that friendly relations between parties are the foundation of bilateral development and expressing readiness to implement regular youth exchange and mutual visits.

 

Moreover, the Chinese side stated that it will actively cooperate with the Mongolian side to achieve tangible results through the joint projects and common understanding reached at the level of the two countries’ Heads of State. The Chinese side reaffirmed that the CCP will provide support for the implementation of long-term, sustainable, and mutually beneficial joint projects and programs, and that it will place importance on large-scale projects such as renewable energy, infrastructure, and urban development, proposed by the Mongolian side, and carry out research on these matters.
