Ulaanbaatar, March 25, 2026 /MONTSAME/. During his official visit to China, Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) and Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) Uchral Nyam-Osor met with Liu Haixing, Head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on March 24, 2026.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party and Speaker of the Parliament Uchral expressed his pleasure at making his first foreign visit as party leader to China, Mongolia’s “eternal neighbor,” at the invitation of the CPC.

Uchral emphasized that the visit is important for deepening the long-standing friendly relations between the two parties, which share a 105-year history, and for expanding cooperation and exchanges between their affiliated organizations.

He also noted that following the adoption of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan for socio-economic development, Mongolia is committed over the next five years to advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in new sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure construction, environmental protection, carbon markets, and the digital economy.

Liu Haixing, for his part, thanked Uchral for accepting the invitation and choosing China as his first destination abroad as party leader, highlighting Mongolia’s high regard for relations and cooperation with neighboring countries.

He stressed the importance of continuously enriching CPC-MPP relations with new content in the modern era and enhancing exchanges among youth, women’s, and labor organizations under the framework of inter-party cooperation memorandums.

He also underlined the importance of advancing agreements reached by the two countries’ leaders and implementing projects beneficial to both nations and their peoples, noting that China’s 15th Five-Year Plan presents new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
