Mongolia’s Ambassador Presents Credentials to Kazakhstan’s President

Ulaanbaatar, April 17, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Batjargal Gunaajav, presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on April 16.
Ambassador Batjargal conveyed greetings from the
President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh
Ukhnaa, and expressed his readiness to actively work to strengthen the
traditionally friendly relations and “strategic partnership” between the two
countries.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the country is implementing
large-scale reforms, particularly the goal
of building a Fair Kazakhstan, and emphasized active support for development
based on knowledge, innovation, and artificial intelligence. He also stated that 2026 has been
declared the "Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence,"
and that work is underway to achieve progress in this area.
The President of Kazakhstan also conveyed greetings to his Mongolian counterpart and congratulated Ambassador Batjargal on assuming his duties. He stated that preparations are complete for the upcoming state visit of Mongolia’s Head of State to Kazakhstan, as well as for the first-ever Regional Ecological Summit in Astana. He expressed a strong commitment to expanding constructive cooperation with countries in the region.
