Vice Speaker receives S.Korean MPs
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 21, the Vice Chairman of the State Great Khural R.Gonchigdorj met with the delegates from the National Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of Korea. They discussed the two countries’ partnership at bilateral and international levels, their involvement in the multilateral talks, as well as in economic integration.
The sides noted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Mongolia and South Korea. R.Gonchigdorj underlined that the two countries have built a strong foundation of bilateral relations, "this milestone should become a period for Mongolia and S.Korea to determine the new perspectives of relations".
He also highlighted an importance of close cooperation for realizing the Eurasian Cooperation Initiative by the president of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye and the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue Initiative by Mongolia, in ensuring of and contributing to peace and stability in North-East Asia.
Mr Gonchigdorj believes that the President Park Geun-Hye will take part in the 11th ASEM Summit, which will run next year in Ulaanbaatar.
