Mongolia to Export Certain Goods Tariff-Free to Eurasian Economic Union Countries
Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union have held the third round of negotiations on the "Concluding the Interim Free Trade" Agreement and agreed on products to be supplied tariff-free or with reduced tariffs.A total of 367 types of goods will be exported duty-free from Mongolia to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan). Specifically, 29 types of meat and meat products, 60 types of leather products, 204 types of wool and cashmere products, and 73 types of other agricultural products will be duty-free.

The Government of Mongolia to Issue Securities on the Domestic Market
The Ministry of Finance of Mongolia will begin openly trading domestic government securities on April 16, 2025, to support the securities market and establish a benchmark interest rate for tugrug bonds in the financial market. Industrial Output of Mongolia Reaches MNT 5.1 Trillion
According to preliminary results for the first two months of 2025, the total production of the industrial sector reached MNT 5.1 trillion, marking an increase of MNT 747.1 billion compared to the same period in 2024. This growth was mainly driven by the mining and quarrying sector, which contributed MNT 492.9 billion, and the manufacturing sector, which accounted for MNT 129.5 billion.
