Speaker became Honorary Doctor of Ural Federal University
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold accepted a degree of Honorary Doctor from the Ural Federal University on September 24. Mr Enkhbold graduated the Ural Polytechnic Institute at the University as an automatics and tele-mechanics engineer in 1989.
During the ceremony, attended by Liberation War veterans and university professors and students, the Speaker handed medals in the honor of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Liberation War to veterans E.I.Verkhoturtseva, T.M.Vorobyeva, V.I.Gorbunov, N.M.Laptev and S.S.Kozmin.
After accepting his honorary degree, Mr Enkhbold gave a lecture themed "Democratic values and development of Mongolia", which touched upon the matters of Mongolia-Russia relations, price of democracy, and cooperation with the Ural Federal university in industry developments in Mongolia.
Then, an opening ceremony for a Hall of Fame for the university graduates. It was attended by the Speaker Enkhbold, B.Choijilsuren MP, director of the university V.A.Koshkarov, the professors along with the Mongolian students at the university.
