FM receives senior diplomats
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Day of Seniors, the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren Tuesday received senior diplomats and workers who retired from this Ministry.
At the reception, the FM highlighted for the 160 pensioners foreign relations policy, activities and current works. The senior diplomats have devoted their knowledge, skills and works to strengthening the continuation of the external relations, fortifying contemporary diplomacy of Mongolia, expanding the foreign ties and economic cooperation, he praised the gathered. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its affiliates have been continuing the works launched by the seniors, he said.
“We have gained big achievements in broadening our friendly relations and cooperation with many countries, in augmenting economic effectiveness of the foreign relations, in attracting foreign investors, also in propagandizing Mongolia abroad, protecting our citizens abroad, and participating in structures of international and regional multilateral cooperation,” he said.
He mentioned that the 11th ASEM Summit will take place in Ulaanbaatar next year, "the government is doing all the best to run this grand meeting fruitfully".
