New bill on national security submitted
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President’s human rights and legal policy adviser Ch.Onorbayar presented February 5 a draft law on National Security to Speaker Z.Enkhbold.
Ch.Onorbayar informed him that the National Security Council is to develop the strategy set out in the 4.2.5 of the Concept of National Security. Government reflected this action in its action plan and submitted to parliament.
The draft law is coordinated with the Constitution, the Concept of National Security and other laws. If adopted, the current Law on National Security and the Law on National Security Council must be annulled, he said.
