J.Khatanbaatar appointed as Chef De Mission
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A deputy president of Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) Dr J.Khatanbaatar has been appointed the Chef De Mission of the Mongolian national team that will take part in the Rio De Janeiro Summer Olympic Games.
Such a decision was made at a meeting of the MonNOC’s Executive Council on Monday.
A deputy president of the MonNOC and 1980 Olympic silver medalist Ts.Damdin was appointed the vice chair of our Olympic team.
For the time being, 14 Mongolian athletes have gained the Olympic quotas in freestyle wrestling, shooting, athletics and archery. The national team will have more quotas in judo, wrestling, boxing, weightlifting and athletics.
