Presidential Office head meets UN Resident Coordinator
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the Presidential Office P.Tsagaan met last Friday with Ms Beate Trankmann, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Mongolia.
They shared views on inaugurating a UN-issued document called “Goals for sustainable development” in Mongolia under auspices of the Mongolian President. Ms Trankmann underlined an importance of Mongolia’s role in an approval of the document, and hoped that Mongolia will be exemplary in realizing the goals for sustainable development and be dynamic in attending relevant actions.
It is considered political leadership and a legal landscape are essential in realizing the sustainable development goals.
Mongolia has issued a document a long-term developmental program.
