Industrial sector increasing
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The seasonally adjusted industrial production index was 122.5 (2010=100) in April 2016 which increased by 3.7% against the previous month, by 3.4% against the previous year, but decreased by 5.9% against end of last year.
In the mining and quarrying sectors, the mining products such as crude oil, copper with concentrate, gold increased by 18.3-90.9%; productions of alcoholic beverage, spirit, copper--by 99%, milk, soft drinks, pure water, meat products, wooden door and windows, combed down, railway sleeper, plastic cards--by 1.0% to 2.2 times in the manufacturing sector.
But in the mining and quarrying sectors, mining products of molybdenum with concentrate, zinc concentrate, coal, fluor spar concentrate, iron ore and broken, crashed stone decreased by 2.8-62.3%; productions of ice cream, bakery, bread, buuz and dumpling, articles of iron concrete, sawn wood, cement, vacuum windows, doors, metal fabrication--by 1.0-99.2%.
