Bill on combating family violence to be submitted to parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Initiated by the President, a draft new version of the law on combating family violence and related bills were submitted to parliament on April 15, 2015.

At its meeting held August 30, the cabinet discussed the draft and decided to send back the draft to the initiator. Based on a consensus with the draft initiator, an obligation was given to the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs to reformulate the draft new version of the law, and to discuss it at next cabinet meeting. It will be submitted to parliament.
