Kuwaiti assistance helping flood victims in Bayan-Ulgii aimag

Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/ In the summer of August 2016, more than 100 families in Bayan-Ulgii aimag lost their homes to disastrous flood. To help those families, an apartment complex for 35 households are being built with an aid from the government of Kuwait. Cottages for 35 families, 10 outdoor lamp posts, sidewalk, two drinking water wells and a mosque will be constructed, according to the blueprint.
The total cost of the project is USD 277,835 and the residential complex is expected to be completed by the end of this August. Assistance and support from the government of Mongolia, organizations, individuals and some countries, including Kuwait and Kazakhstan helped the families affected by flood to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.
