Companies employing foreign workers to be reviewed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the regular meeting of Cabinet held on May 17, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat obliged the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs and Ministry of Labor and Social Protection to conduct inspection on companies and enterprises in Mongolia, which hire foreign workers and to introduce the inspection results to the cabinet meeting.
A joint working group for the inspection will check whether the companies are employing foreign workers and specialists only in job positions regulated by a government resolution and the possibilities to enable domestic workers to be employed in the positions of foreign labor force. Moreover, the group will examine if some jobs require only foreign specialists and if not, options to hire a domestic work force in those occupations will be considered.
