Order of Polar Star awarded to foreign citizens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Several foreign citizens received Order of Polar Star today, July 6, pursuant to a presidential decree.

President Ts.Elbegdorj presented the medals to Russian nationals Nina Sandjarikovna Ulanova, head of ‘Uv’ foundation in Kalmykia, Tsyren-Dashi Dorzhiyev, Chairman of Parliament of Buryatia, Oorzhak Osjku-Saar Arakchaevna, Director of ‘Mogen Buren’ factory in Erzinsky District, Tuva, and Tuvan writer Kombu Aldyn-Kys Chamzyrynovna, and Chinese nationals Chi Bulag, Morin Khuur player and wrestler Bayarbaatar Dashdonrov, both from the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region.

The ‘Polar Star’ medal was awarded to the individuals in recognition of their leading contribution to promotion and preservation of  Mongolian culture and historic values.
