Strategic deposit license holders to be audited

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ License holders of strategically-significant mineral deposits will be audited in accordance with the Resolution N2 of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Budget and an order of the Auditor General of Mongolia. The audit was launched officially on November 03, introducing and discussing the audit plan.
The audit will be conducted on fulfillment of duties of strategic deposit license holders before the Government, social and economic influence of their activities, effectiveness of audit system and legal environment sufficiency and it will cover deposits such as Erdenet, Tsagaan Suvarga, Nariin Sukhait, Baganuur, Shivee-Ovoo, Asgat, Tumurtei, Tumurtein ovoo, Burenkhaan, Dornod, Gurvanbulag, Mardai, Boroo and Gatsuurt.
The National Audit Office of Mongolia, the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Finance Ministry, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority, the General Department of Taxation, the Customs General Administration and the General Agency for Specialized Inspection will take part in the audit.
