Inter-bank currency exchange grows by 2.3 times

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Online inter-bank currency exchange trade of USD and CNY has reached USD227 million as of October, an increase by 2.3 times compared to the same time of last year. It means the currency exchange trade has been intensified since the formation of online platform for interbank currency exchange.

The Bank of Mongolia launched the online platform to create a new transparent and efficient structure and develop infrastructure in local currency exchange market.
