MPP re-elects D.Amarbayasgalan as Secretary General

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Secretary-General of the ruling Mongolian People’s Party D.Amarbayasgalan has been re-elected to the post.
The newly formed Conference of the ruling Party met on November 23 at the party’s headquarters, the Independence Palace, after the closing of the 28th Congress.
The main agenda of the MPP Conference’s first meeting was the appointment of members of the Party’s Steering Committee, Secretary General and Secretaries.
Chairman U.Khurelsukh nominated MPP Secretary-General D.Amarbayasgalan for a second term. MPP member B.Bayarmagnai was nominated by a Conference member.
The poll result showed D.Amarbayasgalan being re-elected with 74.5 percent votes.
