Japanese Ambassador reviews ongoing project in Khatgal village

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/On February 9, Takaoka Masato, the Japanese Ambassador to Mongolia, visited Khatgal Village of Khuvsgul aimag to review a progress of the project ‘Integrated Livelihoods Improvement and Sustainable Tourism at Khuvsgul Lake National Park,’ funded by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction.

Project manager T.Erdenejargal reported to the Ambassador about a process of the ongoing project. Moreover, the Ambassador got familiar with products made by locals who received loans from revolving funds, managed by residents of Khatgal Village and Alag-Erdene soum.

Afterwards, he viewed a model of eco-sanitation facility built within the project and expressed his satisfaction with efficient implementation of the project.
