Goyo LLC to increase its capacity by five times

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ One of the first producers of wool and cashmere in Mongolia, Goyo LLC plans to make investment of MNT 55 billion (USD 22.5 million) in 2018 to increase the level of its cashmere processing, the portfolio, the quality of finished products and yarns, and increase the export.
The investment will be spent on the commissioning of three new plants including primary processing, textile and sewing factories, improving the capacity of yarn and knitting factories and their equipment upgrade.
In the previous years, the company annually processed 40 tons of raw material and produced 20 tons of yarn and 100,000-110,000 knitted items. This year, when new plants are put into operation, the company will process 400 tons of raw material and produce 160 tons of yarn and 515,000 items, increasing its capacity by five times.
According to Strategic Development plans of the national cashmere producers Gobi JSC and Goyo LLC, they will process 1000 tons of raw material, produce 2 million items, making up about 80 percent of Mongolia's cashmere production and 20 percent of global cashmere in 2021.
