Agriculture Minister of Irkutsk region proposes to establish joint fruit factory

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Agriculture Minister B.Batzorig received Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation Ilya Sumarokov on June 9. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. B.Batzorig, Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, expressed gratitude to his counterpart for his great contribution to the bilateral diplomatic relations and cooperation.
During the meeting, the Irkutsk side put proposals on supplying wheat and cooperating in protecting the health of Mongolian livestock, improving breed, and establishing a joint-factory for fruit and berry processing.
Mongolian side expressed willingness to export meat to the Irkutsk region of Russia.The sides also agreed to further develop the traditional friendly relations between the two countries in the agriculture sector.
