MP B.Enkh-Amgalan meets Chairman of the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk Krai

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ B.Enkh-Amgalan, MP and deputy head of Mongolia-Russia Parliamentary Group in Mongolian Parliament, met with Russian delegates, headed by Chairman of the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk Krai Lugovskoy Sergey Leonidovich, at State House on August 3.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation, especially expanding relations between Ulaanbaatar and Khabarovsk Krai.
MP B.Enkh-Amgalan expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of ‘Mongolia-Russia Initiatives-2018’ Forum held last July, during which the parties signed the Intergovernmental Agreement between Governments of Mongolia and Russian Federation on Terms for Rail Freight Transit Transportation, and specialists of forestry and headwater held first meetings to develop cooperation.
To make substantial progress in trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, Mr. Enkh-Amgalan underlined that the parties need to take certain actions to intensify cooperation between private sectors and public-private sectors of the two countries, and to increase channels so that SMEs can advertise and sell their products.
He also said that ‘Mongolia-Russia Cooperation-2018’ Forum to be organized this September in Mongolia offers enterprisers of Khabarovsk Krai to participate in spheres of meat and meat products, leather, wool and cashmere, fish products, wooden materials and oil and hold contacts with Mongolian businesses. In addition, he requested Mr. Lugovskoy to pay attention on making Mongolia’s rail freight transit transportation through the Far East.

In turn, Mr. Lugovskoy thanked for audience and noted that Russian government shows high importance to Russia-Mongolia relations development. He also emphasized an importance of expanding cooperation in trade, economy, culture, humanity, youth exchange and SME productions and expressed his commitment to give all-round support for it.
