Umnugobi aimag “to be relocated”

Emergency workers from Umnugobi aimag in cooperation with the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia will relocate the city of Dalanzadgad, provincial center of Umnugobi aimag. This is the preparation for the “Gobi Wolf” international disaster response exercise which will be held on May 04.
The aim of the exercise is to provide emergency workers and local residents with training and methods on disaster risk reduction and management in an event of an emergency situation.
“Preparatory works of the exercise to move eight bags /smallest administrative unit/ of Dalanzadgad soum are complete. Residents will walk to the resettlement area when a warning siren ring three times. Each household must have prepared their emergency bags to carry with themselves” said Mr U.Bayanmunkh, Director of Governor’s Office of Umnugobi aimag
