Renovated hiking trail of Chingeltei Mountain opens
ВидеоUlaanbaatar City Department of Tourism has renovated a hiking trail of the Chingeltei Mountain, putting signs and refurbishing rest spots aiming to create safe and comfortable environment for citizens of the Ulaanbaatar city when they hike, rest and spend their leisure time in nature.
The renovated hiking trail route 1 starts at 1.5 km away from the last bus stop of Chingeltei. The hiking trail is furnished with shelters, information boards and route signs.
Mr D.Batsukh, Head of the Ulaanbaatar City Department of Tourism, emphasized that it has been reflected in the Ulaanbaatar City Action Plan 2016 -2020 to build or renovate hiking trails of the four mountains surrounding Ulaanbaatar city. “The renovated hiking trail of the Bogd Khan Mountain opened in 2016. As for this year, we completed renovation work for the hiking trail of the Chingeltei Mountain. Hiking trail renovation for the remaining two mountains will be made in the coming years” he added.
