Ch.Badral selected as one of 20 singers to compete in Cardiff Singer of the World 2019

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Competing with over 400 opera singers, a soloist of the Mongolian Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble Badral Chuluunbaatar was selected one of the final twenty for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019 competition.
The preliminary
selection of the competition took place in
London, England and after a three-stage selection process Mr.Badral together
with 19 young renowned singers are invited to compete for winner's prize on
June 17-22, 2019 in Cardiff, Wales.
Previously, in 2015,
State Honored Artist E.Amartuvshin was awarded with Sutherland Audience Prize
of the World Opera Singer Cardiff competition held every two years while State
Honored Artist G.Ariunbaatar was selected as one of the best 5 singers and
became ‘Song Prize’ Winner 2017. The winner of the competition receives GBP 20
thousand or MNT 67 million.
