/MONTSAME/ A meeting for businessmen of six provinces themed ‘Local
Business- Export Opportunities to the EU market’ has been held within the Promoting
Human and Labour Rights through GSP+ project running by Globe International NGO. The meeting was attended by business people from
Arkhangai, Bayankhongor, Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon and Sukhbaatar.
EU Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP+) allows developing countries to pay fewer or no duties on exports to nine EU countries, giving them vital access to the EU market and contributing to their growth. Particularly, Mongolia has been currently benefiting from its export of products such as knitwear, processed horsehide, and cashmere to the countries including Spain, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Poland and Hungary.
