MNT478 billion accumulated from mining sector

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Today, the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry held its monthly conference ‘Transparent and accountable mining’.
As of February this year, mining and heavy industry sector accumulated MNT 478
billion to the state budget as taxes, fees and royalties, with an increase of
35.1 percent or MNT124 billion as compared with the same period of previous
year, reported Minister D.Sumiyabazar.
According to the first
two months, gross production of industrial sector reached MNT 2.5 trillion,
with an increase of MNT 400.3 billion (19.3 percent) as compared with the same
period of the previous year. It was mainly influenced by growths in the
production of mining and extractive industries.
