Peace Corps Mongolia Director works in Uvs

Uvs /MONTSAME/ At the invitation of the Governor of Uvs aimag, Country
Director for Peace Corps Mongolia Kim Mansaray together with those in charge of
the western region is working in the aimag to see the working environment of
volunteers.
On April 22, the aimag’s Governor D.Batsaikhan met with the Country
Director and voiced his wish to deepen bilateral cooperation while expressing thanks
for contributing to the aimag’s social development by sending volunteers to schools
in remote areas, especially the development of education sector by improving English
language skills of teachers and students.
Ms. Kim Mansaray conveyed the U.S. volunteers’ gratitude for full
support of the aimag’s authorities and citizenry, saying there is a possibility to have two or more specialists work in Uvs aimag under the English
Education Development and Community Development programs.
