State Secretary meets with Lebanese AmbassadorPolitics
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to Mongolia Mrs. Milia Jabbour on May 27.
While presenting her credentials to the State Secretary, Ambassador Milia Jabbour said that she is pleased to be the first Ambassador of Lebanon to Mongolia and will seek the opportunities to expand bilateral relations and cooperation. First of all, she emphasized the importance of consultative mechanisms between the foreign ministries and cooperation in tourism.
State Secretary D.Davaasuren congratulated the Ambassador for her appointment, highlighting the potential to cooperate in tourism and agriculture sectors despite the geographical distance. He also noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will support the Ambassador’s future endeavors.
Mongolia and Lebanon established diplomatic relations on February 5, 1998.
