Yoneyama alumni convene in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 26-27, the 33 Yoneyama alumni associations of the Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Foundation organized their second forum in Ulaanbaatar under a theme ’Kizuna in Mongolia’ with involvement of about 400 representatives from 16 countries.
Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Masato Takaoka together with over 70 Rotarians and around 100 Yoneyama alumni in Mongolia attended the forum.
In his address to the forum, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar said “It brings me pleasure to hear 279 Mongolians have been involved in Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Scholarships since 1996. I consider this a huge investment in Mongolia and would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the foundation’s incumbent president Tadami Saito and former president Kazuhiko Ozawa as well as all the Rotarians”
