Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Snow and blizzards are expected in eastern aimags, with high wind speed in most parts of the country on October 28.
Wind speed will be 7-12 m/sec, reaching 16-18 m/sec at times.
In the depression of Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, and near Khurenbelchir, the temperature will range from -11 to -16 degrees Celsius during the night, and -5 to 0 during the day.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, and in the basins of Orkhon, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will be -6 to -11 during the night, and -2 to +3 during the day.
In the depression of the Great Lakes and the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -3 to +2 during the night, and +8 to +13 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +4 to +9 degrees Celsius.
