Zavkhan aimag to partner with the U.S. Embassy

Zavkhan /MONTSAME/ The Governor’s Office of Zavkhan aimag conducted a training on animal husbandry in partnership with Military Attaché Service of the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia.
The 4-day training was conducted under topics protecting animal health, preventing from contagious disease, animal emergency service plan and responsive actions, animal slaughter, taking samples as well as making laboratory analysis. Over 50 officials including staffs of Veterinary Hospital Office of the aimag, veterinarians, specialists of the Center for Zoonotic Diseases and officials of Emergency Management Department attended the training.
The training is a start of cooperation between Zavkhan aimag and the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia and the sides resolved to open American Cultural Corner in Uliastai soum in aims of increasing citizens’ English knowledge and creating opportunity for youths to study in the United States in the future.
Furthermore, the Governor’s Office reported that the sides agreed to cooperate in the areas of education, health, agriculture and emergency management, for example through adding English and English song and dance classes in training curriculum of pre-school education and establishing American standard kindergarten in Zavkhan aimag.
