Principals in arrears decreased by MNT 24.8 billion from previous year

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. In
the end of December 2019, the amount of outstanding loan to entities,
enterprises and citizens amounted to MNT 18.1 trillion, showing an increase of
MNT 870.4 billion (5.1%) from the same period of previous year.
The total outstanding loan
shows that it’s MNT 9.4 trillion (52.1%) was individual’s loan, MNT 8.7 trillion
(47.9%) was enterprise’s loan.
At the end of December 2019,
the standard loans amounted to MNT 15.4 trillion, showing an increase of MNT
164.7 billion (1.1%) from the previous month and MNT 854.6 billion (5.9%) from
the previous year. The standard loans make up to 85.4% of total loans, showing
an increase of 0.7 points from previous year.
At the end of December 2019, the principals in arrears amounted MNT 824.0 billion, showing a decrease of MNT 144.5 billion (14.9%) from the previous month and MNT 24.8 billion (2.9%) from the previous year. The principals in arrears make up to 4.6% of total loans, showing a decrease of 0.7 points from the previous month and 0.3 points from the end of the previous year.
At the end of December 2019,
the non-performing loans in banking system amounted to MNT 1.8 trillion,
decreased by MNT 92.9 billion (4.8%) from the previous month, while it is
showing an increase of MNT 40.6 billion (2.3%) from the end of the previous
year. The non-performing loans in the banking system make up to 10.1% of total loans,
showing a decrease of 0.5 points from the previous month and 0.3 points from
the end of the previous year.
