Mongolia’s President Kh.Battulga is paying a working visit to the Kingdom of Norway. The visit kicked off yesterday, January 27, and Prime Minister of Norway Ms.Erna Solberg welcomed Mr.Battulga in her residence.
Expressing his confidence that bilateral cooperation would broaden in the future, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga explained his visit has inseparable connection with the amendments made to the Constitution of Mongolia.
The sides talked over number of projects and programs targeted to increasing trade turnover between the two countries and agreed to make the discussed issues actual work by holding a consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries afterwards the visit.
On the same day President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga met with Crown Prince of Norway Haakon.
Welcoming the President to the Kingdom of Norway, the Crown Prince expressed his confidence in the visit being an important step to further develop relations between the two countries.
As holding discussions on developing partnership with the Norway wealth fund and in the agricultural sector is planned for this time’s visit, President Kh.Battulga requested Prince Haakon to pay special attention to the matters discussed during the visit.
He also officially invited the Crown Prince to the International Youth Green Games 2020 that will be held in Mongolia in September among athletes of ages up to 18 from 195 UN member countries in the framework of supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
