Mineral industry to contribute to the fight against Covid-19 spread

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mineral industry workers informed Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Sumiyabazar of their plans to launch a humanitarian campaign against the coronavirus disease (covid-19) as mineral sector plays a leading role in the socio-economic development of Mongolia.
Minister D.Sumiyabazar showed support for the campaign and began the campaign by donating his one-day salary to inspire others to follow his lead. The campaign aims to support the Mongolian government’s efforts against the disease and provide moral and material support for the people of China.
Employees of several NGOs such as Mongolian National Mining Association, Geological Society of Mongolia, Mongolian Industrial Geologists Association, Mongolian National Industrial Council, and Mongolian Oil and Gas Association also pledged their one-day salary for the campaign.
