Deputy Agriculture Minister meets with representatives of U.S. Department of AgricultureSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry J.Saule paid a working visit to the United States between February 10 and 14.
As a part of her visit, the Deputy Minister held a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, affirming the country’s intent to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and openly exchanging views on policies and measures being taken in the sector.
Underlining that Mongolia is attaching significant importance to the Third Neighbor Trade Act, which aims to develop bilateral trade and economic ties on the basis of mutually beneficial condition, increase investment opportunities, enrich cooperation with new areas and directions, get technical assistance as well as to empower human resource, the Deputy Minister called for carrying out joint projects and programs in the fields of food, agriculture and crop farming.
Deputy Minister J.Saule also voiced the country’s willingness to intensify cooperation with the U.S, strategic partner of Mongolia, in food, agriculture and light industry further.
