National Book Festival to run for three days

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Book Festival, which was uncertain whether to be held due to the pandemic, has been scheduled to be organized on June 5-7 at Misheel Expo center under both virtual and traditional forms for the first time.


Mongolians loving books celebrate the festival in aims of enforcing the decree of the President of Mongolia on ‘Celebrating Book Festival’, promoting book publication and supporting public reading. And the festival gives opportunities to readers to meet with writers and authors and buy books at discounted price.


Libraries in Ulaanbaatar city, publishing houses, authors and writers, artists, representatives of universities and NGOs annually take part in the book fair.
