A citizen diagnosed with the virus was among 70 citizens who had been repatriated from Russia through Altanbulag border checkpoint on October 22.

To date, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia has reached 340, with 312 recoveries. Currently, 28 patients are undergoing treatment at the National Center for Communicable Diseases, of which 20 of them are in mild and 8 are in serious health conditions.

All 340 cases are ‘imported’ or detected from people who returned from abroad and were put under mandatory isolation upon arrival.
